Mr. Robot Season 2 Spoilers - Directly From Showrunner Sam Esmail

USA's new TV series Mr. Robot just finished its first season with huge success when it comes to ratings and great impact coming from its viewers. The network has decided to have the show renewed for another season and showrunner, Sam Esmail even has some spoilers that fans would surely love.

The first season has somewhat given some spoilers or hints, as to what's going to happen in the second season. Meanwhile, IB Times cited Esmail's statement about the show's second installment and based on his interview during the New York comic con, the series is about to get dark. Fans can also expect that it is going to be a lot different this time. It will be the same show, but he is about to change a lot things. That is definitely something intriguing and gives fans more reasons to look forward to watching the next season.

Esmail further explains his plans for Mr. Robot season 2, "In the wake of all these awesome reboots -- 'The Leftovers' just rebooted and 'Halt and Catch Fire' just rebooted very successfully -- we were talking in the writers room about how this season is in many ways kind of a reboot, but that it's also very much a continuation of what happened in Season 1 and kind of the reactions, consequences and repercussions of what happened.

Based on that statement, he was aware that the show got mixed reviews, but it also made some great feedback around the world. Now, it could be that the change is to generate better ratings. IB Times thinks that the producer might be afraid the show is going to be a flop.

The second season of Mr. Robot will go back on production in March of 2016 and its season premiere can be expected early summer of next year.
