'The Voice' Recap: Final Three Revealed; Blake Shelton Predicts a Winner

And then there were three.

After a season filled with epic performances, social media saves and deal-breaking steals, NBC's "The Voice" has chosen their three finalists, who will be battling for the title.

Advancing to the finales from Team Adam Levine is Tessanne Chin and Will Champlin. Also going ahead is Jacquie Lee from team Christina Aguilera. Contestants James Wolpert of Team Adam and Cole Vosbury of team Blake Shelton were eliminated from the singing competition.

Chin, was the first finalist revealed, but before learning she was safe, the singer stated that "to come this far is a true honor" and called singing in the finals "a chance to change my life." Levine called Chin's rendition of Simon & Garfunkel's "Bridge Over Troubled Water" the "most flawless and graceful performance I've ever heard on this show."

Chin revealed to E! News that she initially did not want sing the song.

"I was in his kitchen when [Adam] told me the song, and I was like, 'What about this song?' and he just gets this look where you know there's no arguing," Chin said. "When he sets on, you just know. I was like OK. I tried a little bit of it in the kitchen and he was like, 'Tess, this is the song.'"

The 28-year-old singer said the song took a new meaning after receiving some sad news from her sister.

"I got a text from my sister...we lost someone we know," she said. "It just kind of sidelined me."

Tuesday's results show also welcomed back season four alums, the Swon Brothers, who are the only duo to ever make it to the competition's final round, winner Danielle Bradbery, along with fellow finalists Michelle Chamuel. Season three winner Cassadee Pope from Team Blake made her second appearance on the show and sang "Wasting All These Tears," a song off her debut album.

Shelton, who has won the competition three times told NBC's Today he was "bummed" that his final artist went home. The country singer said this year's competition is tough and it would be hard to point out one clear winner.

"I don't know if we've ever seen competition this tough on this show," Shelton said. "Normally at this point I think you see somebody, that really becomes an obvious person that's going to win the thing. This year, that hasn't been the case. It's like week to week."

Shelton added: "And if you go by this week's performance, everything points to Tessanne (Chin) right now, so that wouldn't surprise me to see (her win)."

The final performance show will air Monday at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
