James Franco Shows Off His Emma Watson Tattoo

As a self-confessed Harry Potter superfan, James Franco made another weird act by posting a dubious photo of Emma Watson's face tattoed on his neck!

Franco captioned his Instagram post with: "I (heart) Hermoine." - misspelling Emma's character name "Hermione" in the Harry Potter franchise. Thankfully, he was able to spell it correctly for his tat. This has been a buzz for a while, since his fans couldn't decipher if the beautiful face inked on James'neck is a real deal and yeah throwing Franco's followers into a deep thought: Is he dating Emma Watson?

According to Vanity Fair, Franco, credited the tattoo to an artist who created it, @indiangiver, Cheyenne Randall, who is well known to Photoshop detailed landscape, and interesting pictures and places it over some of history's most iconic actors: Elizabeth Taylor adorned with a beautiful butterfly on her neck, over a bald eagle's wide wings. He also did Johnny Cash with "Promised Land" fake-inked above his steely brows, and Marilyn Monroe with colored flowers on her kneecaps

"It's not a super original idea," Randall said to Vanity Fair via a phone interview. "My favorite artists, like Mike Gant, have been drawing tattoos on people for years. We love fantasy, escapism, 'what if?' This is my version of a parallel universe, to see what these people would have looked like had they been born in a different time."

That explains Franco's genius idea to rock the cyberworld for his faux Emma Watson's face! Randall was commissioned by Franco to place a 'hypothetical girlfriend' tattoo for the character of an upcoming art project - and put it "somewhere prominent on his body." It was a coincidence that Randall just recently watched 2013's This is the End, which stars Franco and Watson. "I had just recently watched that end of the world movie with Franco," Randall told the Vanity Fair, "and she's in it, so I just picked her. It was random."
