Nicole Scherzinger Signs $4.5 Million Deal With Sony Records?

It looks like fans can expect to see new music from Nicole Scherzinger.

According to United Kingdom newspaperThe Sun, the former Pussycat Dolls singer and "X Factor" judge has reportedly landed a $4.5 million dollar recording deal with Sony Records, to release a new album this summer.

"Nicole was the most popular member of the 'X Factor' panel this year and is the real winner in terms of bankability," a source told the newspaper. "She is set to sign with Sony and can't wait to get back to her music which took a back seat during X Factor."

The Sun reported that the singer was in the final stages of working out the details to the contract. The 35-year-old released her debut solo album, "Killer Love," in 2011.

The singer posted identical images of her on-again, off-again sweetheart, Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton, as they posed on snowmobiles on Wednesday. 

"What better way to kick off 2014 in God's Country! Praying and snow mobiling! #Everything! #Glorious!" Scherzinger wrote on Instagram.

A time later, Hamilton added: "Great way to enter the year....snowmobiling with Gods view. Truly am blessed to have a great family with me. #onelove."

Scherzinger and Hamilton, who began dating in 2008, but the Sun reported that the couple split last July because of conflicting schedules, but remained in contact.

"We're just friends," the pop star told The Sun in November. "Just friends."
