Channing Tatum is Packing on the Pounds: 'I'm Very Fat and Happy Right Now'

Channing Tatum is known for his chiseled physique, but the actor has now confessed that he's piled on a few pounds and is happy with his bigger figure, Us Weekly reported.

During an appearance on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" this Thursday, the new father admitted to being a bit hesitant about showing off his current body. He has apparently put on some weight since appearing in the male stripper movie, "Magic Mike".

"What you've done since Magic Mike is now, whenever you dance, we think you're going to take your clothes off," DeGeneres joked.

"You definitely don't want that right now," the 33-year-old "White House Down" actor said. "Right now--what me and my wife like to call it, I am very 'fappy.' I'm very fat and happy right now."

The actor said after working for two years straight, he "really needed down time," to focus on family, his wife, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, and their daughter, Everly.

"She's eight months old now and saying 'da, da, da, da,' I don't think she knows what it means just yet, but it doesn't matter," he gushed.

The "Step Up" actor added: "She's sleeping now too...You know how you get that first thing of not feeling cool enough for your kid, because like you think you're the coolest thing in the world so far and she's just like a little baby, she just a little infant? But she actually has better taste in music than I think I do. Because she will only fall asleep to really good music."

The 33-year-old revealed that before bed, his daughter prefers to listen to Drake's "Hold On We're Going Home" and Prince's "The Most Beautiful Girl in the World".

"She might be conceited, I'm not sure," he joked.
