Pizza Hut Rolls Out Triple Treat Box for the Holidays

Pizza Hut just introduced something special for the holiday season. It is called the Triple Treat Box and it promises to put a whole new meaning to the term "family size." The custom made box has three levels that packs generous amounts of old and new Pizza Hut favorites, Time reported. See the official Twitter announcement here.

The bottom level has an order of bread sticks or Flavor Sticks together with a Hershey's Ultimate Chocolate Chip Cookie. The bread sticks are a crowd favorite but can be substituted for Flavor Sticks. You can pick between Toasted Parmesan and Fiery Red Pepper. The cookie is the size of a pizza itself and comes in 8 slices. It is the perfect dessert to this hearty Pizza Hut meal.

The top two levels each have a medium-sized, one-topping pizza. Additionally, the pizzas can be customized. Everything from the choice of toppings, sauces, and crust flavors can be tweaked, Delish noted. The most awesome thing about the Triple Treat Box is that it is available today for $19.99.

The triple deck box follows the list of recent Pizza Hut promos which got pizza lovers talking. For instance, Hong Kong outlets rolled out earlier in the year a cool pizza box that doubles as a movie projector. The Blockbuster Box features a cut-hole and a lens that comes with the pizza. By inserting the lens to the cut-hole, the Blockbuster Box doubles as a film projector for smartphones.

The Blockbuster Box also comes with a QR code for a free movie download. The company is also trying to digitize its promotions by live streaming a Pizza Hut event, Restaurant News reported.

The three-hour live broadcast featured a comedy improv group as host and could be accessed via a microsite. Hundreds of prizes were also given away, including Xbox One, pre-release copies of Halo 5: Guardians, selfie sticks, and free pizzas.
