Is the world still spinning, or did Zoom just totally destroy the STAR Labs team in his electrifying debut in the sixth episode of 'The Flash' Season Two?
'Enter Zoom' has finally shown what the fans have been waiting for since the first episode: the speedster battle between the Earth-2 villain and Barry Allen. However, it took a little longer to see the fight because everyone was too busy distrusting Earth-2 Harrison Wells, training Linda Park to pretend as Dr. Light and talking about a kiss that happened in the previous episode.
Although it is understandable that the team still doesn't trust Harry for being the creator of the current season's Big Bad, they certainly had a strange way of trying to find out the truth about him. Luckily, Cisco was able to find out that Harry's daughter is being held captive by Zoom, a vital info that could help the team trust Earth-2 Harrison Wells in the future episodes.
Iris is once again brilliant in hatching the plan to get Linda Park to impersonate her Earth-2 doppelganger in order to draw Zoom out. The scenes featuring her training were hilarious, as Malese Jow displays the obvious difference between Linda and Light. Unfortunately, no matter how hard she tried, there simply is no fooling Zoom.
The battle between Zoom and Barry Allen was truly intense, as the Scarlet Speedster tries his best to defeat the metahuman villain. Just when Barry thinks he could beat Zoom with a trick Jay Garrick had taught him, it backfires and the villain immediately takes the upper hand.
The last few minutes of 'Enter Zoom' is excruciatingly brutal, as Zoom parades his fallen adversary around town and finally to the STAR Labs for the kill. Fortunately, Cisco comes to the rescue with Harry's anti-speed serum dart and the villain flees.
But things are looking good for Barry Allen. Will Earth-2 Harrison Wells abandon him? Will Zoom come back to finish the fight? Why can't Barry feel his legs? What will happen to The Flash now?
'Gorilla Warfare,' the seventh episode of 'The Flash' Season Two, will air on The CW on November 17.
