Justin Bieber Bodyguard Arrested in Atlanta After Allegedly Stealing Photographer's Camera

One of Justin Bieber's bodyguards was arrested Tuesday after reportedly stealing a $10,000 photographer's camera.

A police report stated that photographer Jason Winslow was waiting outside of the Sandy Springs Funhouse family entertainment complex in Atlanta, Ga., when he was approached by security guard, Hugo Hesny, who told him to leave, the Associated Press reported.

Steve Rose, a spokesman for the Sandy Springs Police Department, said that Winslow relocated after the warning but continued to takes pictures of Bieber from a distance. He was reportedly followed by Hesny and another man driving a Cadillac Escalade.

After catching up to the photographer, Hesny reportedly took the camera and drove away with it. Some reports stated that Hesny drove back to the home Bieber was renting in Sandy Springs. Authorities were unable to find the stolen camera after searching the Hesny's vehicle,

The security guard admitted to having chased the photographer but said he never took his camera.

Winslow suggested to police that the camera had been tucked away in the other Escalade that was in Bieber's entourage. After searching the second vehicle, police found the camera hidden inside and arrested Hensy.

Fulton County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Tracy Flanagan said Hesny's bond is set at $15,000 on a felony charge and that the 32-year-old guard will be released some time on Wednesday.

A small amount of marijuana also was found in the Escalade, along with some pipes commonly used to smoke it. Because of the small amount of pot, no charges were filed, according to a police statement.

The pop star was not involved in the altercation and it is unclear if Bieber was in the car at the time.

Hesny also faces a battery charge in South Florida, where a police report stated that he grabbed a photographer by the neck and pushed him outside The Hit Factory recording studio in June.
