Paul Walker's Sunglasses From Tragic Crash Site Auctioned Off to Highest Bidder

Items allegedly found at Paul Walker's fiery car crash site are now for sale in an online auction. According to New York Daily News, an unmanned seller on BidAMI.com is claiming to have the sunglasses Walker wore during the time of his death on Nov. 30.

The website also claims to have a piece of debris from the accident and a fire extinguisher that was said to have been used on the day of the tragic event to save the "Fast & Furious" star's life. An acquisitions specialist at BidAMI.com, told the Daily News that the glasses were "photo-matched them to the one's Paul was wearing [that day]."

The mysterious seller is claiming to have been at the scene of Walker's crash and collected the items after police cleared the scene. There is no explanation as to how the seller found the debris or the fire extinguisher.

"Once the site investigation was cleared with car debris hauled away and tape taken down, a responding officer allowed him as well as others back to the public site," the site reads. "The only thing left was a charred ivy brush, minor residual debris, a knocked down pole and tree. As the consigner walked the scene in disbelief and grief, he found a pair of sunglasses nearby in the ivy. After showing one of the officers, he was waved off."

Despite receiving more than 4,000 views, only four people have actually bid on the items. They are currently priced at $1,572. The Daily News reported that the lack of "bidders could be due to questions of authenticity and whether auctioning off Walker's belongings and items from the crash site is morally correct."

The auction comes two and a half months after the actor and his friend, Roger Rodas, were both killed in a Santa Clarita, Calif., car crash.

"These auction items are offered with the acknowledgement of Paul Walker's immeasurable charitable contributions," the site reads. "A portion of the proceeds will benefit savethemustangs.org one of the main charities BidAMI partners with."
