X Factor Mogul Simon Cowell Spent £2,000 for a Bath on a Hotel Room, Find Out Why

What could be more relaxing than soaking in a hot tub? A comforting bath detoxifies, relaxes muscles, restores the body and pampers the skin as you soak. And with a few drops of the right essential oils, an otherwise average bath becomes a spa treatment tailored to the needs of your body and mind. Soaking in hot bath also helps in improving blood circulation and calms the nervous system.

These could be the reasons why Simon Cowell spent £2,000 on a hotel room so he could take a bath. That right! £2,000 just for a bath.

On the news reported by Inside Toronto, when the boiler at Cowell's home broke down, the 56-year-old X-Factor big boss reportedly 'spend his money like it's going out of style' on a suite at the deluxe Mandarin Oriental in London just for a relaxing soak.

A source told The Sun newspaper: "Simon loves baths and they're central to his daily routine."

"He'll admit booking a suite in a flash hotel just to use their bath is slightly excessive, but when you're as rich as Simon it's not quite as big a deal."

As soon as he heard his boiler had been fixed, Simon checked out of the room and went home and found comfort on this own bed.

Previously, Simon revealed about his addiction on being hygienic and admitted he sometimes he's up to "three baths a day" as well as two steam sessions.

Simon even has a shower backstage at The X Factor as well as a bed and a personal barman.

A source said previously: "Simon's dressing room is like a mini version of his house - he even has a king-sized bed and bath, plus a storage area for his Champagne.

"His list of requirements also includes a barman, massage therapist and a gold buggy cart to take him around."
