Would You Try Tesco's Controversial Chocolate and Cherry Christmas Sandwich?

From the data gathered by The British Sandwich Association, the following are the most popular sandwich fillings in the pre-prepared sandwich market: Chicken (24%), Fish (18%) (mostly tuna and prawns), Cheese (15%) and Other (12%).

Tesco, the supermarket giant has added the chocolate and cherry stuffing to their sandwich selections for £1.80. Find out whether the brand new meal deal will be included on the twelve percent vote.

According to a report publish in Mirror, the peculiar snack will feature cinnamon bread that goes together with a 'snow-covered wintry scene detailed with a Christmas pud and hat-wearing robin'.

But as soon as the sandwiches hit shelves, the internet went into meltdown.

Hannah Jackson added: #Tesco have launched chocolate & cherry sandwiches for Christmas, definitely doesn't appeal to me.

Joe tweeted: " Tesco are selling chocolate and cherry sandwiches like I'm done with humanity wtf is that s***."

One Twitter commentator was extremely sarcastic after Paul Street uploaded a snapshot of himself with the latest food item.

"Hey Paul, I'm glad to see the sandwich has caught your eye" Did you try it after," said the optimistic Tesco Twitter user.

"No, Pete, I didn't. I was sick into a brown paper bag and had that instead," came the reply.

In a report in Evening Standard, a Facebook member was shocked as he examined and discovered the unusual chocolate and cherry flavor on the shelves of Tesco.

Nic Branch uploaded a snapshot of the sandwiches on the public page 'Sh*t London and gathered numerous negative comments.

'Chocolate and cherry sandwiches? Has the world gone mad?' commented Jane Craigie-Payne.

'Turned my stomach this morning looking at this lol!' another user said.
