Jennifer Lawrence Nude Photo's Leaked: A Violation of Privacy

Alleged nude photos of Jennifer Lawrence and other celebrities are circulating social media sites such Reddit, Twitter, 4Chan and Tumblr according to a CNN report. A spokesperson of Jennifer Lawrence told the media that nude photos violates the privacy of the actress and anyone who's posting the photos online will face legal consequences.

Another actress, Mary Winstead condemned the hacking of her nude photos through her twitter account.

However, some celebrities are claiming that those alleged nude pictures are not real but fake. Singer Ariana Grande claimed that the nude photographs of her are, "completely fake."

Actress Victoria Justice tweeted that the so called nude photos of her are fake.

Other celebrities involved in the nude photo leak includes reality star Kim Kardashian, actress Kirsten Dunst and singers Rihanna and Selena Gomez.

A Leak in Apple's iCloud?

According to an Independent post, unidentified 4Chan users claimed that the alleged nude pictures were taken from iCloud - Apple's cloud data storage provider.

iCloud subscribers will have all their information such photos and emails stored online. To access the data, users will only need to sync them to any of their Apple devices such as their iPhones, Mac OS X, iPads or any other personal computer connected to the net.

It is speculated that the hackers may have gain access through the celebrities' iCloud account by obtaining or guessing their passwords correctly or gaining access through their email accounts. Such methods are possible but have yet to be confirmed.

Nude Online Photo Poster Asking For Donation

The suspected poster of the initial nude photo promised to post lurid videos of Miss Lawrence in exchange for a donation coursed Bitcoin or Paypal.

Reaction From Apple

So far, Apple has yet to issue an official statement regarding the allegations that the nude pictures leak came from iCloud.
