Square Enix Montréal has just announced that the video game 'Lara Croft Go' will receive a free expansion entitled "The Shard of Life".
During the celebration of the Thanksgiving Day, Square Enix revealed that they will release a new update to their award winning game Lara Croft Go. The aforementioned new expansion is said to offer a new chapter filled with puzzles and new collectables.
For those who don't know yet, Lara Croft Go is a mobile/handheld game which tasks a player to solve overwhelming puzzles and situations, defeat monsters, avoid traps that causes injuries and collect relics. The main character named as Lara Croft is a feminine Indiana Jones who will be the one to do all the job.
In the "Shard of Life" expansion, Lara Croft will face new adventures she never faced before. She will be assigned to discover the depths of the Cave of Fire in order to search for the legendary Shard of life. The free content will offer the player extra hours of gameplay as Lara will try to solve 26 sets of new puzzles, bring down several monsters in battle, earn the two new costumes, collect relics and precious stones and many more.
In the previous Lara Croft Go, it can be remembered that the game was composed of five chapters which comprised of 75 puzzles. With the additional content, players will surely enjoy the action-adventure genre of the game.
In terms of price, Square Enix is now offering a limited discount as a part of the new expansion celebration. At a price of $2.99, players can now get the complete game together with the free expansion. The original Lara Croft Go is sold at a price of $4.99.
The subsidiary of the Japanese video game developer will also host a Twitch Plays LCGO event which highlights the introduction of the new expansion.
