'Star Wars' themed Movie Theater Opens, Country's First with a Death Star!

Are you a Star Wars fan who dresses up when going to the premiere? Or are you the kind that brings props and light sabers with you inside the movie theatre? Well, wouldn't it be nice if the whole place matches your costume? In Nebraska, it's possible!

Omaha is now the place to be in for Star Wars movie goers this December. The Alamo Drafthouse cinema chain recently announced that they are opening a Star Wars themed movie theater in Nebraska City.

With everything Star Wars going on, the Force reverberates through all that is worthy. In France, where you get to see the premiere 2 days early to the all famous Star Wars musical score  are being played almost everywhere. It is no surprise if quaint little Omaha decided to get galactical with their own Star Wars premiere welcome.

The Alamo Cinema Team wanted to make a statement in Omaha and the midwest. They wanted to construct and install a theme that resembles the uniqueness of their theater. And what better way than to build something based on an iconic franchise and at the same time provide their audience with an experience that can be memorable and relatable.

The installed lobby theme, which was designed by Dimensional Innovations based on reports, will be a permanent destination and the cinema invites guests to come over and see the Star Wars film.

What can you expect going through its doors? Picture a 10 foot Death Star hanging in the lobby including its laser. If you need to purchase your buttered popcorn and soda, head on to the space station looking concession stand. There is also the Emperor's throne where you can manually handle a functional  lobby Death Star with the throne controls. And so you wouldn't get confused, the signs will point you to the right path.

Shall we see you there?
