Kim Kardashian Undergoes Painful Procedure To Correct Her Baby's Position For Childbirth

Kim Kardashian has undergone a procedure to ensure the safety of her second baby before she delivers him anytime this month. The 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star revealed the news on her official website.

Last week, the TV personality announced that her baby number two with rapper Kanye West was in the wrong position for childbirth putting her at risk, including her son. On Tuesday, Kim K wrote on her website that her pregnancy condition has already been corrected by undergoing a very painful procedure.

"This weekend, I checked into the hospital and underwent a procedure called an external cephalic version (ECV), which is done to manually turn the baby from a breech position to a head-down position," the star wrote.

Kim Kardashian shared that the said procedure came with several risks but they still conducted it. If her water broke during the operation, the baby's heart would have dropped which will leave them no choice but to conduct an emergency cesarean.

Since the procedure was successful, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's baby is no longer in great harm which eased the fears of the reality star.

As described by Kardashian, the procedure was more painful than giving birth. But she is glad that the position of her coming son has been fixed by her doctors.

"They don't give you any pain medication, and let me tell you: This was soooooo painful. Probably more painful than childbirth. BUT it worked!!!" shared Kim.

During the operation, the fashion icon had the full support of her husband Kanye West and her sisters who were all at the hospital. Kim Kardashian is relieved that her son is now in the right position and she no longer have to think about undergoing Caesarian section.

However, the social media personality is still not in good condition because she currently has sinus infection and cold. In order to fully recover, she is allowing her daughter North West to have a sleepover with her cousins.
