Square Enix Collaborates With CyberConnect2 For 'Final Fantasy 7 Remake' [TRAILER]

Square Enix has revealed that CyberConnect2 will be participating in the creation of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake. This has been confirmed by Yoshinori Kitase and director Tetsuya Nomura.

CyberConnect2, the studio which is famous for its Naruto fighting games will assist the game developer to make the upcoming game more attractive to the gamers. In an interview, Kitase and Nomura revealed exciting news and updates about the forthcoming role-playing video game. The creators have unveiled the plan to include a subtitle to the game so that players can relate more the story. But the two clarified that the game will not be a spin-off or a sequel of the previous installment.

Kitase also revealed that the upcoming game will have multiple installments. This is because the density and content of the video game will not fit in just a single installment. Doing so would also compromise its resolution. Nomura added that the content of the game will increase as the player successfully finishes each level.

Many believe that the collaboration of the two companies for the Final Fantasy VII Remake will bring a positive result considering the expertise of CyberConnect2 in developing fighting video games.

Earlier this year, the president of CyberConnect2 Hiroshi Matsuyama said that he has a desire to work with a company for a remake of the Final Fantasy VII. Square Enix is keeping close with the company because of its which will make them be successful in the creation of the remake.

As of the moment, CyberConnect2 is also working on a game called Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 which will soon be available to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC users. The game will be released in February 2016.
