Amazon Wish List Search: Now, Users Can Add Products Directly On Twitter

Last Wednesday, Amazon's wish list search has been improved, as it is now in tune with social network Twitter; starting last Wednesday, users can add items to their Amazon wish list by searching the hashtag #AmazonWishList.

Amazon's wish list search tool will come in handy for avid users of the social network, as it will allow them to add items to their wish list without even changing tabs in their navigator. Through this, Amazon's wish list search becomes easier.

As the Media Post reports, this new tool builds on Amazon's recently release of #AmazonCart, a tool that, after connecting Twitter with Amazon, informs users when an item has been added to their wish list or if the requested items are currently out of stock. The way to do this is by writing to @MyAmazon after connecting the accounts, which will be the bot in charge of managing orders and items.

Among the Amazon wish list search service is the ability to save an idea for later, which can also be done directly from the user's Twitter page, just by adding a virtual note to their wish list. There's also a feature that allows the creator of the list to keep it private; this is particularly useful when it comes to adding presents to one's wish lists, so that way those who will be receiving the gifts will have no idea of what they'll be getting.

This is a new strategy devised by the famous online retailer for the holiday season, as the start of the fall announces; often enough, it passes by so quickly that users don't get the chance to plan their gift-giving ahead.

It's not the first time this week that Amazon makes news. Earlier on, it was reported that the retailer would start collecting taxes in Minnesota, a move Amazon had avoided doing last year, prompting speculation of a new warehouse facility being opened in the state.
