The new American sports drama film - Creed, that stars Michael B. Jordan (cast of the American drama series Friday Night Lights) and the American actor, screenwriter and film director - Sylvester Stallone, has been pinned as one of the biggest motion picture this year, as the Creed movie already grossed over $67 million at the U.S. box office, since the film was released two weeks ago on Thanksgiving weekend.
The Creed film as the Rocky sequel, also got one Golden Globe nomination for Sylvester Stallone's acting - and many critics anticipating Oscar nods as well.
Taking into consideration all of the buzz surrounding the film, it comes as no surprise that the individuals behind the movie are not only promoting it but also using that promotion to try and do some good.
The official Twitter page of the Creed movie shared a video yesterday of its leading star, the American actor Michael B. Jordan, having a discussion about a competition that raises money for the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization.
Michael B. Jordan, the teenage drug dealer Wallace in the American crime drama television series - The Wire, explains that by donating $10, a person with a friend can have a chance to win a trip to Hollywood.
The winner not only gets to stay in a four-star hotel, but also gets to hit the gym with Michael B. Jordan himself, for what he calls "a Rocky-style workout." The lucky winner can even get to star in their own montage video with the actor, recreating scenes from the movie and maybe even the previous Rocky movies of Sylvester Stallone.
All of the proceeds from the donations will go to the charity of Big Brothers Big Sisters. And the more a person donate, the more Creed prizes that person can win as a $10 base donation gives individuals 100 entries to win the private boxing lesson with Michael B. Jordan, who portrays Adonis Creed of the Creed film.
