Google CEO Sundar Pichai Writes Open Letter To Support Muslim Community

The chief executive officer of Google Sundar Pichai has finally spoke out regarding the issue of banning the Muslims to enter the United States. In an open letter, Pichai expressed his point of view and called for Muslim tolerance just like what the other tech executives issued.

The head of Google who is also not native of the US felt the need to stand up and fight for what he believe is right. Pichai acknowledged that everyone can state their personal opinion but others must also speak out so that people would know if they have the same or different beliefs.

Earlier, presidential aspirant Donald Trump stated that Muslims should be banned from the US which became controversial and caught the attention of many. Some agreed while others have different views regarding the matter.

Sundar Pichai revealed in his letter that he was depressed to learn that many are now calling for Muslim intolerance.

"The open-mindedness, tolerance, and acceptance of new Americans is one of the country's greatest strengths and most defining characteristics. And that is no coincidence - America, after all, was and is a country of immigrants," wrote the Google executive.

Pichai does not believe that the US would be a better place if a certain group of people would be prevented from entering the country or expressing their opinions and ideas. The head of Google even cited their own company as an example.

Google is comprised of many employees from different races and cultures. But the difference brings beauty and uniqueness to the company and their workplace. Despite the difference, they are able to do great things that really count together.

Pichai is aware that Muslim intolerance in the US is a hot topic today. Despite the odds, the chief executive of Google ended his open letter by calling out others to support Muslim and other minority communities.
