No, your eyes are not fooling you. You read it right. Adding to the long list of diets and detoxes, is the Taco Cleanse.

Did you know that there are people who call themselves "Taco Scientists" in Austin, Texas? and they authored a new book called "The Taco Cleanse"  which illustrates the ways on how to get healthy by eating tacos-only tacos everyday.

Creators Wes Allison, Stephanie Bogdanich, Molly R. Frisinger and Jessica Morris have studied and designed a diet plan that instructs people to eat Tacos for breakfast, lunch and dinner for 30 days straight. All three authors have done the said diet and are encouraging others to try it and discover the potential.

The scientists dedicated many years studying the positive effects of the Taco Cleanse. Sad to say that this diet doesn't promise weight loss, instead the following results, as declared on their website:

  • The Taco Cleanse has been shown to produce a glorious beard for the formerly hairless!
  • In a recent study 100% of women trying to conceive successfully became pregnant within weeks of being on the Taco Cleanse.
  • You will wake up in the morning with new enthusiasm when you know your day is going to start with a breakfast taco.
  • Your sleep will improve as you begin to detox from the negative self images associated with other diets.

Too good to be true? Well, everything is true except for one missing tiny detail: everything should be vegan. And oh, did we mention it includes guac and margarita too?

The book provides Taco recipes and ingredient alternatives. Before starting, you will take a Taco quiz which asks series of questions for you to know what kind of Taco-eater you are. You can be a "taco purist, taco sentimentalist, taco adventurist or taco contortionist".
