Jennifer Lopez looks fit, even at 46, and that leaves her fans and followers thinking what her secrets are to staying fit.

Recently, it was revealed that she might be throwing punches, which not only helps to keep her stress level under control, but also a great form of exercise.

"I always liked it," Lopez told reporters about her love of boxing while promoting her new show Shades of Blue at the NBC TCA presentation in Pasadena, California. "It's very hard, but I did pick it up again for [the show]."

Lopez started boxing with the movie "Movie Train" and mentioned that it has been a good workout for her.

However, boxing is not the only thing, which keeps the actress fit. She also visits her fitness trainer Tracy Anderson at least four times a week.

"With her busy schedule, that's a lot," Anderson tells PEOPLE. "It can be anywhere from 30 minutes - if her kids need her for something, because she's always there for them - to an hour or hour and a half."

When asked about what she does during workout, Lopez mentioned that she does an upper body warm up, and then exercise with music, and later on adding weights in the mix.

Consequently, she also does muscular structure sequence, which is switched up in corresponding visits.

"She's highly trained in picking up choreography, and she's incredibly coordinated, so she can pick up things very quickly," says Anderson, while speaking about Lopez's workout regime. "She likes to be challenged, but she's very, very aware of her body, and in one look to me can be like, 'no that's not for me,' and then I'll move onto another move."

Rather than focusing on a specific body part, Lopez's work out regime include exercises to tone her entire body, and that is perhaps her secret of a fabulous health.
