Kate Hudson's Tips to a Beautifully Healthy Body: 'Be Happy'

Women of the world unite. Now, everybody's favorite Hollywood girl is sharing her secrets on how to love your body and be happy in general.

On Tuesday, Kate Hudson passionately talked about health, fitness, lifestyle and happiness as she launched her book entitled "Pretty Happy; Healthy Ways to Love Your Body."

"I'm really excited about this. It's the first time I get to talk about this with women. It's something I'm super passionate about, being the holistic self," Hudson said in her interview with Good Morning America. "For me, it's how do you motivate women to want that to be a part of their lifestyle, the actual work part because it is a discipline."

The 36-year-old actress said that every woman should be kind to herself and not give in to the pressure and standards set by society. She said that what is important is the happiness you will feel within.

"I think women are hard on themselves. We're predisposed to be hard on ourselves. I'd like to see that start to be alleviated," Hudson said.

Being a certified sexy actress herself, modelling for various steamy magazines such as Sports Illustrated, Hudson swears she don't deprive herself and work out every day. 'I travel a lot, I work a lot, so you can't do it every day,' Kate confessed. "But it makes me happy. Being active makes me feel better," she said.

Her busy schedule for work and being a mother of two kids inspired her to write a book, consists of tips and advises to women, especially career persons like her in balancing time and finding enough reasons within oneself.

According to Kate, it's all about balance. She shared, "It's mental and it's physical. I think meditation is an incredible tool. I think the sanity of trying to stay as grounded as possible, what it does to your body and your brain, it starts to alleviate the stress hormones."
