Bacon is such a huge part of popular culture today that one can find pretty much anything and everything in the image of bacon -- even items that are not meant to be eaten such as soaps, plushie toys and Band-Aids. There's probably a bacon version of anything somewhere.

1. Bacon Jalapeno Poppers - We start things off with a delicious appetizer. Jalapeno stuffed with cheese is already good on its own. What would make it even better is if you wrap it in bacon. Check the recipe here.

2. Bacon Pancakes - This delicious meal takes two of your favourite breakfast items into one delicious meal. It's so good, a beloved cartoon character even made a song about it. It's also very easy to make.

3. Chocolate-covered Bacon - This uncommon pairing has gained popularity in recent times. The salty and smoky flavour of the bacon is complimented by the sweetness of the chocolate. This makes for a surprisingly scrumptious treat.

4. Bacon Jam - The bacon jam is yet another proof that bacon goes with anything. It's another take on the savoury and sweet approach to bacon. You can eat it with bread or use it as a relish. Here's a Martha Stewart take on homemade bacon jam.

5. Bacon Hot Sauce - Hot sauce just got even better because now it can taste like your other favourite thing, bacon. This would go on anything you would put hot sauce on.

6. Candied Bacon - This treat is another creative take on how to prepare bacon. It's also sweet and savoury and this is achieved by caramelizing brown sugar on the bacon.  You can try this simple recipe from Chef Alex Guarnaschelli.

7. Bacon Weave -Weaving bacon turns the thin singular strips of bacon into a more workable shape for wrapping around other food or eating on its own. Weaving bacon is also not terribly complicated. You can make your own bacon weave in four easy steps.

8. Bacon Bouquet - It is an age old tradition to give flowers to someone to express desire and affection. For next Valentines, give that special someone a bouquet of bacon because why not. To cook the bacon, you can either use muffin pans with holes drilled in or simply stick toothpicks at the bottom so the bacon doesn't unravel.

9. Bacon Cups - This makes for a creative and appealing way of serving food using bacon. To make the bacon cups, you need to make a bacon weave so the bacon does not fall apart after cooking. Place a tin foil sheet on underside of a muffin tray. Make sure to trace the form of the muffin tray with the tin foil. You place the bacon weave on the mounds on the tin foil and stick it in the oven.

10. Bacon Soda - This novelty beverage is truly for the hardcore bacon fan. The guys at Bacon Freak offer a variety of bacon flavoured sodas on their website. These include Bacon Soda, Bacon Soda with Maple Syrup, Chocolate Bacon Soda, and Candied Bacon Flavor Cream Soda.
