Japanese Food Company Creates Ramen Sandwich

Once again, Ramen has tried out new sandwiches, but not Ramen burger to entice the customers with their products.

Yamazaki  Bread, a Japanese baking company,  has expanded its lunch pack line to include a ramen sandwich.

Traditional fillings include peanut butter, egg, and tuna, however, the brand has introduced a variety of regional favorites to diversify its offerings, including Hokkaido croquet and Niigata pork cutlets, reported The Daily Meal.

For the month of March, the company has created the Yokohama - style Ramen sandwiches. The newly styled ramen is made with a pork stock or a soya sauce broth, which can be seasoned with garlic.

The sandwiches are reportedly made with the  help of Yokohama ramen restaurant named Yoshimuraya, which presently has a line of eager customers waiting at their door.

Yamazaki Bread's ramen Lunch Pack also features noodles and chunks of pork seasoned with a sauce, which recreates the restaurant's signature broth.

The ramen sandwiches are presently priced at only 150 yen (US$ 1.30) and are available until the stocks last.

Notably, this is not the first time different combinations with the Ramen have been tried. Earlier, the Ramen burger became most loved in many countries and was known to have high calorific values.

The ramen burger is known to combine two comfort foods from different culture of America and Japan and thus was extensively famous.

One serving of the ramen burger actually contains 652-kilo calories and is a rich source of proteins and carbohydrates. Thus, it is estimated that even the ramen sandwich will actually contain more calorific value than that of the ramen burger.

Thus, it is yet to be seen if the new ramen hybrid will essentially gain popularity as the ramen burger, but it will definitely be one of the most craved food by the ramen lovers all across the globe.
