Just when you think things can't get any worse for child star Amanda Bynes, they do. The star left Los Angeles last week after a DUI charge was filed against her. Just a week into her arrival in New York, Bynes has already been called out for talking to herself in public (a lot), looking disheveled with a bandage on her face and multiple others on her ankles, scratching a woman at a night club, wearing one shoe at a high end Manhattan department store and now shoplifting at Barneys plus indecent exposure.
Amanda Bynes has had a rough week. Just yesterday she was seen pulling up her shirt in the middle of the street in New York, taking out her bra in public just before allegedly shoplifting at Barneys. TMZ claims that the 28 year old star was caught by security walking out with a $200 hat she had not paid for. The star allegedly put on the hat and proceeded to walk out the department store.
Law enforcement forces arrived at the scene to question the Easy A star, but security at the department store had already released her.
Amanda Bynes was forced to sign a no-trespass agreement before leaving, permanently banning her from the store.
Witnesses at the scene claim the star acted crazy during her interrogation by the security officers. She claimed that she was going to remove her wallet to pay for the hat before a fan started taking pictures of her, that is when she decided to walk out. She claims she had no intention to shoplift.
There is currently no word on if she bought the hat.
The troubled star is on medication after a rehab stint and multiple reported run is with the law. She is reportedly engaged to a 19 year old she met rehab. Her parents Lynn and Rick Bynes are taking care of her.
