Among the most common types of fatty fish are mackerel, salmon, fresh tuna, and tilapia. These types of fish meat have fatty acids that help protect and maintain your overall health. These fishes have oil in their stomach tissues that are healthy for human consumption. The oil in them is where the omega-3 fatty acids come from.
