COVID-19 has taken so many tolls on humanity ever since it has introduced itself globally, but having a drink that may help you fight the virus can be seen as a gleam of hope.

With the rise of the new strain of COVID-19 that wreaks havoc in some countries around the world, it is very unnerving that after the vaccine has taken its shipment across the United States, a new strain of SARS-CoV-2 enters the picture.

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reports that based on the mutations the novel strain is potentially more rapidly transmissible than the other mingling strains of SARS-CoV-2.

Forbes mentions that the BBC reported that the new strain of the virus was detected in Denmark, Italy, Germany, Netherlands, and Australia. They add that travelers from the United Kingdom who arrived in Madrid, Sweden, France, Lebanon, and Japan were detected to have the new strain of the virus.

With this alarming virus, aside from the vaccines that can enhance your immunity, having a drink that can weaken the virus may help you and your immune system in case you may have contact with it.

In an interview with them [Eat This Not That], head coach of Vegan Liftz, Jason Hughes, RD, the immune system is very busy filtering the cells to find out which are the safe ones and which ones are foreign that is why it needs vitamins and nutrients from the foods you consume to keep the body active.

Hughes continues in Yahoo! life that pumpkin seed drink is composed of fresh and natural ingredients that boost the immune system making it robust in fighting against viruses and infections.

Healthline adds that pumpkin seeds are rich in Zinc which is the focus of a study from Australian researchers as medication for respiratory issues that has a relation to COVID-19. They add that there is one US clinical trial focusing on the zinc's effect along with other therapies to prevent getting infected with SARS-CoV-2.

Because of the immune-boosting properties of this drink, taking it is not a bad move especially when the world is in desperate need of strengthening our bodies to fight against the virus and the new strain that is saying hello.
