2021 is the year that people want to be fit and healthy, and with the emergence of various diet trends like Keto, Chipotle unveils cilantro-lime flavored cauliflower rice in addition to their 2021 menu.

Chipotle notes in their press release that the new flavor of the cauli rice will be both available in their American and Canadian Restaurants for a limited time.

Markets Insider reports that the restaurant first tested the cauliflower rice in 55 stores situated in Wisconsin and Denver over the summer after the brand noted that their customers and patrons were frequently requesting the option for the rice.

Chipotle notes in their press release that the process of testing the cauliflower rice allows their brand to listen, test, and learn from the feedback their customers give, test and learn from the feedback, and perform based on the customers' pleas before executing a launch strategy.

CNBC adds that the rice substitute is becoming more popular as more consumers or patrons are cutting grains from their diets. They further that according to the test markets, nearly one in three customers who try the cauli rice was a new customer of Chipotle.

According to Chipotle, their patrons can start with the new rice option (especially if they are under Keto Diet). The brand notes that their cilantro-lime cauli rice encompasses 4 grams of net carbs per serving, an amount that is relatively good for those who are undergoing calorie restriction diets.

CNBC notes that the cauliflower rice can be in the customers' plate by adding 2 US Dollars for tacos, burritos, and bowls.

Markets Insiders notes the words of Chipotle's Chief Marketing Officer, Chris Brandt saying that chipotle fans are craving for more plant-powered options that are anchored on the latest diet and health trends, that emphasizes the benefits of real food.

Chipotle notes that the cilantro-lime cauli rice will also be available to order on the brand's app, website, and third-party delivery partners. In addition to the new rice option, Chipotle also notes through January 11, the brand will waive the delivery fee on any US Chipotle app and website order of 10 dollars or more.

The catch is the cilantro-lime cauliflower rice should be on the list of your orders.

Chipotle Menu 2021

Chipotle's surprise for health enthusiasts does not end with their new cilantro-lime cauliflower rice. CNBC notes that the brand is also extending its line of lifestyle bowls which was remembered to be launched a couple of years back, to entice customers who are following a strict diet.

Chipotle mention in the release that their Whole 30® Bowl, Keto Bowl, Vegetarian Salad Bowl, and Vegan Bowl, can now be enjoyed with the cilantro-lime cauliflower rice, alongside the classic ingredients the traditional version has.

Chipotle's Cauliflower rice is offering a new option for people who are trying to lose weight and improve their lifestyle. Because of innovations like this, people who undergo diets can still enjoy the luxury of restaurant foods without worrying about their weight.
