We love Trader Joe's, but I mean, who DOESN'T love Trader Joe's? We are there about once a month, and it's like being a kid in a candy store - sometimes literally because they have great candy. Besides our standard items (we never leave without a box of Snickerdoodles) we found some amazing items at TJ's this month. Let's take a look at what's new.

Bourbon Vanilla Bean Paste

OK, simmer down. You can't get drunk on it. What you CAN do with Bourbon Vanilla Bean Paste is bake. The Bourbon part of the name comes from the fact that the beans were picked on the Bourbon islands in the Indian Ocean. It's a great alternative to vanilla extract, and you can also add it to cocktails, milkshakes, coffee, and whipped cream. It costs $4.99 for a 4oz jar.

Shrimp Boom Bah (love that name) features succulent, shelled shrimp coated in a savory batter. Cook them in just 12 minutes (oven, air fryer, or deep fryer!), then combine them with their sweet and spicy sauce (included) for a festival of flavor. Enjoy this zesty shrimp as an appetizer, main course, or in lettuce wraps. And it comes to you for a budget-friendly $8.99.

Peas & Carrots Sour Gummy Candies

Trader Joe's Peas & Carrots Sour Gummy Candies are a limited-time nosh shaped like everyone's favorite veggies. Don't be fooled by their appearance, though - these cuties are a mix of sour and sweet fun. Peas are packed with a citrus punch, while the carrots offer a delightful crystal sugar contrast. Made with fruit pectin and natural colors, these sweet and tangy treats are a good time indulgence at just $1.29 per 3 oz bag. And I mean, who doesn't like foods shaped like other foods...except marzipan that is. Marzipan is gross.

Sriracha Baked Tofu

We're not the biggest Tofu fans, but Trader Joe's Sriracha Baked Tofu just changed our mind. Made with non-GMO soybeans, this marinated, pre-baked tofu is bursting with big flavor. Its 12-hour sriracha marinade process infuses the tofu with a perfect balance of spice, sweetness, and a hint of garlic, creating some really cool marbling. Enjoy it straight from the package, tossed in a salad, stir-fried with your favorite veggies, or in a grain bowl. Trader Joe's Sriracha Baked Tofu is protein-packed and easy to prepare. Oh yeah, and like many Trader Joe's products, it's cheap! Only $3.99.
