In a scene straight out of a madcap rom-com, the one and only Guy Fieri made a grand entrance at an unsuspecting couple's nuptials in Asbury Park, New Jersey this weekend. The spiky-haired chef was in town filming for Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives when he caught wind of the wedding festivities happening outside the Homesick restaurant in Asbury Park. Never one to miss out on a shindig, the Mayor of Flavortown pulled up uninvited and proceeded to pour shots of his Santo Tequila directly into the bride's mouth!
An Unforgettable Wedding Gift
Photographer Alli Rockafellow captured the priceless moment as the baffled betrothed and their guests watched Fieri saunter into their wedding photos. The couple's expressions morphed from shock to sheer glee as the frosty-tipped cook made himself at home, dousing the bride with top-shelf tequila as raucous cheers erupted from wedding guests. His Fieriness even signed a bottle for the newlyweds as an impromptu wedding gift.
The After Party
But the fun didn't stop there for the insatiable TV host. After crashing the wedding, Fieri headed to Japanese restaurant Taka where he and a dozen-person posse proceeded to demolish a smorgasbord of sushi, apps, and entrees.
We always thought Fieri missed his calling as a hard-partying singer in a 90s alt-rock band and his Asbury Park antics seem to prove us right. Next time you're at a wedding keep your eyes open - you may get a sneak attack by a guy in a flaming shirt, cargo shorts, and a pair of Oakleys brandishing some top-shelf tequila.
