Diane Kruger And Joshua Jackson: Marriage On The Way, Yay Or Nay? [PHOTOS]

Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson have been together for nearly a decade, since 2006 - and it seems they're more than happy with the way things are, without feeling the need to tie the knot ... or at least that's what Joshua says!

Though Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson have been happy with each other for many years, it seems that Jackson isn't interested in taking the next step. In a recent interview with Glamour magazine regarding his new Showtime series "The Affair", the "Dawson's Creek" star said that they weren't planning on getting married anytime soon.

Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson are both children of divorce, and neither of them particularly believes in marriage as an institution that ensures them to be happily ever after. Instead, it seems Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson take a more modern approach to their relationship: they feel it's not necessary for them to feel committed to each other.

"I can tell you why we're not married: We're not religious," Jackson told Glamour.  "I don't feel any more or less committed to Diane for not having stood in front of a priest and had a giant party. We're both children of divorce, so it's hard for me to take marriage at face value as the thing that shows you've grown up and are committed to another person. But it may change at some point. We may get married."

It's not the first time Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson make news talking about why they haven't tied the knot - since it's a question they get asked often, as the media seems to be very interested in what their wedding plans are. A few years back, Kruger, who was once married to Guillaume Canet (Marion Cotillard's beau), also said that she wasn't interested in marriage and that she was pessimistic about it, according to Eonline.

While the press waits to know more about these two lovebirds, fans can watch the boyfriend of Helen of "Troy" playing a man whose wife cheats on in the show "The Affair" on Showtime.
