Lynch received both an Emmy and Golden Globe Award for the Fox musical show and also appeared in many comedy movies including "Best in Show", "The 40-Year Old Virgin" and "Role Models".
Born in Dolton, Illinois on July 14, 1969, Lynch received her bachelor degree in theatre at Illinois State University and earned her MFA in Theater from Cornell University. For fifteen long years, she acted in the Steppenwolf Theatre Company in Chicago. On Memorial Day of 2010, Lynch married Embry. After three years of marriage, Lynch filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences. The divorce is now officially approved on Monday by Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Ralph C. Hofer.
The divorce might take a slight toll in Lynch's net worth of $10 million as the agreement calls for Embry to receive half of her royalties from entertainment projects which includes several seasons of the TV series "Glee".
Lynch has to pay her ex-wife $1.2 million in a property settlement in a two-year period.
Lynch previously stressed that her divorce was "not a horrible thing". "It's two people who just decided it's better to go apart than stay together," she added.
