Just four episodes into the new season and our remaining characters will find themselves in a literally dangerous and appropriately named "Slabtown." In tonight's show, a new group of survivors will be introduced, but things aren't looking great for the new guys though everything may appear spotless for them. The episode will likely focus on Beth as new characters will be introduced. Some will not stay while others will remain until the rest of this season. A sneak peek to the upcoming episode titled "Slabtown" shows Beth, who was apparently kidnapped at the end of last season. This time, instead of bodning with Daryl, she finds herself in a hospital being held as a "sort-of-captive." From the looks of it, the facility is being managed by a doctor with the help of a police officer. We are not sure yet what these new characters are doing to Beth and the rest of their captives, but Beth is now willing to take the risk of trying to escape from the clutches of the unknown. Soneque Martin-Green, who plays Sasha, recently gushed about the recently concluded episode and the upcoming one. "Sasha was so resistant to a genuine connection with another person, and it's something she's been struggling with for a long time," she said. "Bob came along and saved her from that life of exclusivity and of saying, 'This is about me. I'm going to survive and be a team player, but ultimately I'm just going to be focused on me.' ... So to start to open up to that and share that with Bob and start to hope again - maybe even there's delight and light in life - and then for it to suddenly be ripped away, that's the worst thing for her, especially at this moment." Andrew J. West, who plays Gareth also opened up about his character's departure. "I think Gareth needed to go," he said. "As much as I would have liked to see this guy last forever, in this world, he's got to go. Does he deserve to go out like that? I don't know. That is something that will be explored down the line. It's going to be interesting to see what kind of effect Gareth and the Terminus people have on the psyche of our heroes moving forward. With Gareth, it's implied that he was probably a decent and normal guy that horrific things happened to, and he changed into something terrifying." Interestingly, show creator Robert Kirkman dished to IGN that this season is staying true to the comics. "Season 5 is, more than any other season, following the comics very closely," Kirkman said. "There's more comic book moments being adapted than there have been in any previous season, so there's a lot of cool stuff for the comic fans coming up and a lot of stuff they will recognize, but of course we'll be doing some stuff in different ways. . . There are a lot of cool key moments that come directly from the comics."
