Quentin Tarantino Net Worth: How Much Is ‘Pulp Fiction’ Director Making Before ‘The Hateful Eight’?

Famous for his witty dialogues, his foot fetish and for having beautiful blonde Uma Thurman as his muse, Quentin Tarantino's net worth is a product of a career of more than twenty years in the film business, as he's made a name for himself as one of the most important contemporary screenwriters and directors.

In the last few months, Quentin Tarantino's net worth has been making news, as he's set to prepare for his second Western film, after the 2012 release of "Django Unchained," which starred Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz (in a role that gave him his second Oscar; the first had also been for a Tarantino film, "Inglourious Basterds"), Kerry Washington and Leonardo Di Caprio.

The new film that's set to make Quentin Tarantino's net worth grow even further will be called "The Hateful Eight," which seems a pun on the name "The Magnificent Seven," itself a Western remake of the Akira Kurosawa classic Japanese film "Seven Samurai."

Now, according to TwitchFilm, things are finally moving forward with the distribution of the film, which was almost not made at all after the script was leaked on January 2014, and Tarantino was so angry at the whole thing he considered publishing it instead as a novel instead of making it as a movie.

Gladly, the director, screenwriter and occasional actor changed his mind about that, and "The Hateful Eight" began principal photography last January, after months of fans wondering how would the distribution go; ultimately, The Weinstein Company ended up getting the distribution rights for the film, as it's obvious that Quentin Tarantino's net worth is partly this high because of his negotiating skills.

As he's one of the most notorious directors in the business, it's no surprise that Tarantino's film has an all-star cast, including Channing Tatum, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Kurt Russell and Tarantino regulars like Samuel L. Jackson, Tim Roth and Bruce Dern.

Currently, Quentin Tarantino's net worth is listed as $100 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth - quite a climb since his early days as a "Reservoir Dog"!
