Margot Robbie Harley Quinn: ‘Suicide Squad’ Cast Gets First Pic, Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn And Will Smith’s Deadshot Look AMAZING! [PHOTOS]

2016 might just turn into DC Comics' fans favorite year ever, as there are two comic book adaptations set for a release, both of which have been highly prepped up by its directors, with star-studded casts filling in the famous characters - including Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn.

After last month saw the release of the first official photo of Oscar-winning actor Jared Leto taking on the role of The Joker for the first time since Heath Ledger's posthumous Oscar-winning turn, now it's the turn for the rest of the cast of "Suicide Squad" - and Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn, the Joker's "girlfriend," is getting most of the attention.

Last week, Food World News reported that there had been a leak of Will Smith's look as Deadshot as filming of the movie progressed, and fans met the outfit with mixed response - but director David Ayer was too quick to prove the world otherwise by showing the entirety of the cast, including the highly anticipated Margot Robbie' Harley Quinn turn and Cara Delevingne's Enchantress, into the mix.

As Forbes reports, this'll be the first time that the character of Harley Quinn appears in a live-action adaptation of the comics, and ever since the "Wolf of Wall Street" actress was cast in the role, she's been considered the film's biggest "trump card," as it adds a highly popular character.

According to The Verge, besides Margot Quinn's Harley Quinn, Delevingne and Smith, other characters shown in the recent picture release are as follow: Slipknot (Adam Beach), Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney), Katana (Karen Fukuhara), Rick Flagg (Joel Kinnaman), Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) and El Diablo (Jay Hernandez), all of them members of the team Suicide Squad, a black ops team created by the government to reduce sentences of supervillains in the DC Universe.

The Suicide Squad is also DC Comics' explanation of why these villains, including Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn, so often end up "escaping" the prison system.

According to The Daily Mail, right before the official release of the cast's photo, Robbie had been spotted on the Toronto set in full costume, wearing tiny shorts and a ragged t-shirt that read "Daddy's Lil' Monster."
