TGI Fridays Menu: Pay It Further Tweeting Code And Getting Free TGI Fridays Burger For Follower!

These days, large companies are forced to get increasingly creative with their use of social media to entice customers, and the American casual dining chain doesn't want to be left behind while offering their TGI Fridays menu - actually providing patrons with the possibility of giving their friends a free burger!

In the latest fascinating marketing ploy to get more users interacting with brands' social media, patrons who have recently enjoyed TGI Fridays' menu can now get a code in their receipts that, when shared on Twitter, can actually get the first clicker a free burger at any of the chain's restaurants.

The new promo is called "Jump Burger: Buy One, Give One," and through it patrons of the casual dining chain can enter the code in their receipt at www.jumpbuger.com, then posting it through Twitter or Facebook for the first interested party to click and earn a burger.

According to Business Insider, the TGI Fridays menu promo started last Wednesday, and it's primary aim is to engage younger audiences - namely, the millennial generation - to the restaurant, after the chain's sales fell approximately 1.5 percent last year to $1.6 billion, as the dining industry's going through some major changes.

Bloomberg reports it's not the first time TGI Fridays' menu makes headlines over the past few months, as last year the company offered their groundbreaking promo with $10 unlimited appetizers for the very first time, to massive success - and, of course, this also meant a lot of social media sharing, as millennials will often speak about their habits and post them on major social networks such as Twitter and Instagram.

"We think giving our guests an innovative way to pay a burger forward, and the race to snag one of our digital burgers, allows friends to socialize in a new way, while being generous," said Brian Gies, the company's chief marketing officer, responsible for putting TGI Fridays' menu out there, according to Restaurant News. "People love the friendly competition and the free burgers."

For those who are already a fan of TGI Fridays' menu, the company's also bringing back "Endless Appetizers" this month.
