Kanye West's Black Adidas Yeezy 350 Boosts Go on Sale This Weekend

Is third time a charm? If you missed out on the first two Yeezy releases, this weekend marks another opportunity to snag a pair of Adidas Originals and Kanye West's coveted kicks.

The German sportswear giant has announced that the 'Pirate Black' colorway of the Kanye West designed Yeezy 350 Boosts will go on sale online and in brick-and-mortar retail destinations around the globe this Saturday, August 22.

The sneaker is the same model as the original 'turtle dove' colorway that was released in late June. It features a knitted, one piece prime knit upper resting atop Adidas signature boost sole technology for maximum comfort and performance.

The pirate black's feature the same camo/stripe pattern as the original, but as the name suggests the entire sneaker has been rendered in a much darker shade.

Additional details include the cloth pull tab with red stitching at the heel of the shoe, and the suede 'YZY' branding on the arch.

If this release is anything like the previous two, then fans better act fast. When we reported on the first 350 release back in June, we noted that pairs of the shoes were being listed for as high as $10,000 on sites like Ebay and Grailed.

The shoe has also inspired some crazy fans to acts of violence. In July, a concert goer in Switzerland attempted to grab a pair of 350 Boosts right off the feet of rapper Travis Scott while he was performing on stage.

If you want to secure a pair without resorting to options like these, your best bet is to download Adidas Confirmed App onto your mobile phone and keep vigilant. The app was designed to prevent incidents like these so you best take advantage.

According to GQ, reservations go live any minute now so stay tuned.
