A Fan Tries to Steal Travis Scott's Yeezy Boosts from Right Off His Feet! [VIDEO]

It looks like fans are resorting to some questionable means to get a pair of Kanye West's sold out Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 sneakers. Rapper Travis Scott, a noted friend of Kanye and member of his GOOD Music record label, was performing on stage at the Openair Festival in Switzerland when an over eager concert goer attempted to snatch the coveted kicks from right of his feet.

German rap website hiphop.de was able to secure some footage from the incident, and it seems Scott didn't back down from the would-be thief.

The clip begins after Scott manages to wrestle the shoes away from the sneaker thief. He takes to the microphone and berates the culprit, shouting expletives his way and urges the crowd to boo the man. The crowd responds and boos the man lustily as security escort him from the premises. Scott delivers one last parting gift to the disgraced fan and appears to spit on him as he's dragged off.

Was Scott's reaction's warranted, or was he too harsh to the man?

This probably isn't the last time someone will try to get physical over a pair of limited edition sneakers. As brands continue to crank up the hype levels on their upcoming releases to unheard of proportions, super devoted fans will no doubt stop at nothing to land pairs of certain shoes they're after.

Complex Magazine notes that this isn't the first time someone has gotten violent over a pair of shoes with Kanye West's name attached to them. Back when Kanye was still working with Nike, an unfortunate sneaker shopper was gunned down as he was trying to purchase a pair of Yeezy's from a reseller for about $1,800.

In response, both Adidas and Nike have resorted to out of the box means to stop the rising trend of sneaker violence. Adidas created their mobile 'Confirmed' app to allow shoppers to reserve shoes on their phones and avoid camp outs. Nike also followed suit with a similar app a few months after.
