Lindsay Lohan Celebrates 'Mean Girls' Day, Asks Tina Fey To Write 'Mean Moms'

Remember when Aaron Samuels asked Cady Heron what day it was in math class? It was October 3rd and "Mean Girls" fans dubbed the date as 'Mean Girls Day'.

Lindsay Lohan, who played the iconic role, Cady, took her nostalgia to Instagram and posted a throwback photo in honor of the 2004 chick flick.

"It's October 3rd FYI #meangirlsday," the 29-year-old actress wrote.

The former teen queen followed it up with a screen snap of her WhatsApp chat with co-star Laura Slater and apparently was confused on what day it was at first.

"Next step: #MEANMOMS," she captioned. "I'm trying to make it happen!"

Lohan is currently trying to push Mean Girls writer Tina Fey to write for a sequel. "People really love the movie: how do you top that? I was with Tina Fey the other day and I said we should do another 'Mean Girls,'" she told Time Out London. "Like an older version where they're all housewives and they're all cheating. That would be really funny. I'll harass Tina to write it."

The idea of Mean Girls 2 also came out when she reunited with co-stars Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried, Lacey Chabert and Tina Fey in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

"Oh God! I hadn't thought about that!" McAdams told the magazine. "Yeah, I'd totally be up for that. Anything that Tina is at the helm of, I'd be into."

Seyfried, on the other hand, didn't think it was a good idea. "No. No, because you can't f-k with that," she said. "You wouldn't do a sequel to Rosemary's Baby or any Woody Allen movie. You wouldn't do a sequel to The Shining. I can't believe I actually did compare Mean Girls to that - but, in its genre, it really is special."

"Why can't we do a sequel?" Lohan insisted. "Of us all grown up. To work with everyone involved in Mean Girls again would be an honor. It was such a good experience. I think it would be really cool."

There may be a Mean Girls reunion or not, we just have to wait for what Tina Fey has to say.
