H&M Balmain Collection is Now on eBay for Twice the Price After Being Sold Out

H&M's limited edition Balmain collection hit the stores and online just this Thrusday. The clothing line then sold out within hours after it was released. As per Fox, UK and Turkey shoppers flocked the store as they waited in line hours before it even opened as they are eager to get their hands in the H&M's high-end affordable collection.

Fans then flooded the social media on what happened:

The New York branch ran out of stocks just a few hours after the store opened. As per the Daily Mail website, shoppers camped outside the store just to make sure that that'd get their hands on the collection. Their efforts however were left in vain.

Hours after the H&M X Balmain Collection sold out in stores, it was launced on eBay, but with a higher price. It became a popular label as it was endorsed by Kendall Jenner and her best bud Gigi Hadid.

Shoppers who sold their items doubled their price in eBay.

A beaded dress, which was endorsed by a new Victoria's Secret model Gigi Hadid, was auctioned for $1,800, while it was only sold for just $599 in the store and online website.

The beaded velvet jacket which was made famous by Kendall Jenner was also put up for $1,300.

Some customers may have left the stores happy, but others announced their dismay on facebook as they they were asked to wait in line, even if there's nothing left for them to see.

"At Indooroopilly [Brisbane], the whole collection was sold out hours ago and staff are still letting people wait in line knowing full well there is nothing left. They are even letting them into the sectioned off collection which is literally a white space full of empty racks."
