The Easy Order: Dominos Makes It Simpler than Ever to Order Pizza

Dominos has made ordering pizza into an art as much as a science. They recently introduced special delivery cars that keep pizzas hot and fresh. And now they shave off precious seconds in ordering by introducing “The Easy Order,” as Time reported.

Engadget said that there are a couple of levels when it comes The Easy Order. First, there is the actual button. This smart device is actually as simple as it gets. Made by Flic, the magnetic button can be programmed to do a variety of functions. Previously, the Flic button would be used as a convenient snooze button but Dominos has paired it with a smartphone app. The Easy Order button pairs via Bluetooth.

Just save your address and payment details on the Dominos website or app and pick out your favorite orders. The rest is automatic and is literally just a push of a button away. Tracking is simple as well. The Easy Order button will glow red when your pizza is on the way, according to the Yahoo Tech report.

The Easy Order button will only be available in the UK starting in December by way of a “socially led” competition. A second release is planned for February 2016. Like most experiments, if it will prove to be successful in this experimental market, then the rest of the world can expect this kind of service soon enough. The digital Easy Order, however, can be used immediately. It works precisely the same way but only within the Dominos app.

Dominos has been a pioneer in the pizza world. The Telegraph reported that a good 75% of Domino's orders are actually received digitally and half of those are made through the Dominos mobile app. The app has been a massive success and has been downloaded 10 million times already.
