Robin William's Real Killer Revealed

According to reports, Robin Williams had been planning to undergo neurological testing the week before he committed suicide last year, and likely only had three years to live his widow said earlier this month. The culprit, Lewy body dementia, which is mostly misdiagnosed and have tragic results.

After Robin Williams, one of the most popular actors on planet, took his own life in August of last year, thousands of people were surprised and started asking questions. These questions were unanswered, until now. The 63 year-old actor has been looking for treatment for his severe depression. But his widow, Susan Schneider, revealed last week what the real cause of his husband's suicide was. She said that Williams was suffering from Parkinson's disease that had been diagnosed three months earlier.

Aside from that, Schneider said the her husband was also suffering from Lewy body dementia (LBD), a progressively cruel illness that targets the memory, movement, and motor skills of the patient, which is usually accompanied with psychiatric symptoms. Schneider also said that Lewy body dementia took her husband's life.

Surprisingly, LBD, or most commonly known as dementia with Lewy bodies, or Parkinson's with Lewy bodies (depending on the symptoms), is the second most common type of dementia next to Alzheimer's that affect almost 127,000 Britons. Unfortunately, not everybody has ever heard of it.

James Galvin, a neurology and psychiatry professor at Florida Atlantic University explained that LBS is the most common disease people has never heard of. Schneider described this disease as a sea monster with 50 different tentacles of symptoms that only show up when they want. So there's really nothing you can do to prevent it since you don't know when and what symptoms will show up.Williams suffered from a variety of symptoms before deciding to take his life; he had hallucinations, anxiety, depression, loss of motor control and problem-solving skills, sleep, balance and spatial awareness, and delusions.
