Stephanie March Jokes About Bobby Flay Divorce: “I Thought I Would Have to Learn to Cook”

Stephanie March is bursting jokes about her cooking skills after life with celebrity chef Bobby Flay. On Monday, November 23, Stephanie said, "I thought I would have to learn to cook, because I’m not really a very good cook and I thought, 'I’m going to have to pick up a few tricks,'" she quipped to "Extra." "But as it turns out, I go out a lot, so looks like I don’t have to. My toast is amazing. My cereal is incredible."

The 41-year-old, actress, also joked about “the business of being single” when she asked during the interview how business is going.

Stephanie cannot exist on toast, cereal and restaurants alone. But she has great friends to rely on, she loves her new place and is proud to say that her "Business is good."

At the same time, the newly single March acknowledges that while she's blessed to have the support system she has, this year has been a tough one.

The former Law & Order, actress and Bobby split this past April after a decade of marriage due to rumors of cheating on both sides. Flay was rumored to have an affair with both actress-model,January Jones and chef Giada De Laurentis. Flay, filed for divorce after what was reportedly months of trying to mend the couple's relationship. Their divorce was finalized in July.

The SVU star cleared that she is "by no means the only person to ever go through this and I’m very cognitive of that," she noted her "wonderful support network" of really good friends and really good family so I don’t spend a lot of time feeling sorry for myself.

March is an advocate for women's rights and a supporter of Planned Parenthood. Her great-grandmother, Ruby Webster March, founded the West Texas Mother's Health Center, which later became part of Planned Parenthood of West Texas.

Flay has been featured in several episodes of Great Chefs television including: Great Chef's - Great Cities, Mexican Madness DVD and Great Chef's Cook American.
