The 'Original Guy' – Is This Another Conspiracy Theory About the Celebrity iCloud Nude Pictures Hacking?

Dozens of celebrities victimized by the nude photo leaks are demanding justice for the breach of their privacy. Law enforcement agencies including the FBI are investigating how the leak occurred. Apple for its part is quietly patching up any known vulnerabilities in their iCloud service.

As the investigation to the source of the leak deepens, the truth about the matter is slowly coming into light. According to a Yahoo report, the nude celebrity pictures were not hacked by a single person in just one day. However rumors has it that those scandalous photographs, that's circulating the web right now, is thought to be coming from a single person who collected the pictures over time before releasing them online.

Meet the "Original Guy"

It was cited on the same report from Yahoo that the person who collects nude pictures of celebrities, uses the screen name of "Original Guy".

The Daily Mail pin-points Original Guy as the source of all the leaked celebrity photographs.

Original Guy admitted online that he "paid a lot of Bitcoins" to add the stolen images to his collection. Unfortunately a lot of the nude pictures in his collection were already being traded between other hackers and collectors. With his collection steadily declining in value, he dumped his entire collection online for all people to see and download. 

Other Theories

During the past reports about 'Nude Photo Leaks,' online media outlets cited that hackers out there who have the skill to break into iCloud accounts and steal information including images. It was reported that these hackers are responsible for all celebrity photo leaks.

The hackers use various tools designed to crack user passwords and guess answers to security questions. Hackers gain access by making use of Apples iForgot password reset form and the victim's email address. Once hackers gain access to the victim's iCloud account, they use various kinds of retrieval software to quickly download any photographs or information.
