Gerard Depardieu Wine: Drink Consciously Doesn’t Apply To The Actor “When I Start Counting, Doctors Start Worrying”

Gerard Depardieu Wine: No, the French worldwide known Actor hasn't started his own wine brand, but he might as well do so with all that he drinks per day! Want to know how much?

Gerard Depardieu's love for wine has started a very long time ago. Besides, it is a known fact that as people get older, their love for wine only increases. When someone is young and they try wine for the first time, their instant reaction is a "Argh! How can anyone like this?" and they might go for the next step, which is spitting it if no one is watching and if someone is, then drinking it like a champion so that dignity remains.

But Gerard Depardieu doesn't seem to feel that way about wine. The Actor is 65 years old now and has been in over 200 movies and TV shows, I don't even think he needs an introduction as he comes with the French flag, I mean he is one of the most well-known personalities there. I would even go as far as saying someone could know who Gerard Depardieu is and not the current President of France.

And Gerard Depardieu said he can drink 12, 13, even 14 bottles of wine a day. Yes, he gave an interview for So Film and said that. In these words, exactly. "When I'm bored, I drink. Apart from compulsory moments of abstinence. After undergoing bypass surgery (five times), and also because of cholesterol and stuff, I have to be careful. Anyway, I'm not going to die. Not now. I still have energy. But if I ever I start drinking... I can't drink like a normal person. I can absorb 12, 13, 14 bottles... per day".

After that he says that when telling his doctors, they get worried. I am not surprised! With that quantity, is hard not to.

But it seems like Gerard Depardieu doesn't have a problem with wine in the sense that he can still act in a very prolific way. At the moment, he has four projects going on this year and the next.

Hope you can manage it all, Gerard!
