Omega-3 fatty acids come from fish, flaxseeds, canola oil, unhydrogenated soybean oil, walnuts, salmon, mackerel, and sardines.

Omega-6 fatty acids lower the peril for heart disease. Omega-6 (n-6) fatty acids are found in vegetable oils such as walnut, soybean, sunflower, safflower, and corn oils.
