Tomato Cream Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

2 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion, diced
1 clove garlic, minced
3 tomatoes
1 tablespoon dried basil leaves or 4-5 fresh basil leaves
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 cup heavy cream or 3/4 cup milk
A pinch of salt and sugar

Directions

1. Saute onion and garlic in olive oil in a saucepan. Add tomatoes, basil, sugar, and salt.
2. Boil 10 minutes or until most of the liquid evaporates.
3. Remove from heat and stir in whipping cream or milk.
