Scalloped Potatoes

Ingredients
5 cups thinly sliced potatoes
4 tbsp butter
4 tbsp flour
1 3/4 cups milk
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
Parsley, to garnish

Directions
1. Melt butter in a sauce pan and add flour.
2. Stir in milk, and season with salt and pepper.
3. Cook over low heat until boiling, stirring.
4. Reduce heat to low. Add the cheddar cheese.
5. In a greased 3-qt. baking dish, place half of potatoes.
6. Pour half of the sauce over potatoes.
7. Repeat the layers.
8. Bake, uncovered, for 60-70 minutes at 350 degrees F,until the potatoes are lightly browned.
