Melissa Rivers Snubbed: Who Is At Fault?

Melissa Rivers has reacted to Oscars regarding the "In Memoriam" snub of her late mother Joan Rivers. Considering the contribution and the impact of her mother to the film industry, she taught that the comedian actress deserved an Oscar tribute. Among the many worth filmmakers and artists, Joan River was unfortunately not featured in the Oscar's In Memoriam segment on February 22, 2015.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences released a statement about the omission of Rivers and other known artists during the Sunday night's Oscar ceremony. The Academy said that Joan River was actually included on their In Memoriam gallery at  Oscar.com.

Rivers was known for her TV and comedy work who died last September, 2014 from a medical procedure.  She was known for writing and directing the film "Rabbit Test "in 1978 featuring  Billy Crystal. She has small roles in "Spaceballs" and "The Muppets Take Manhattan". Ever since, she has been a sensational red carpet Hollywood actress in Oscars and other awards shows.

According to CBS News, the social media fans had complained on the absence of River on the said Oscar's tribute. The fans were disappointed about the noticeably snubbed by the Academy Awards and Melissa Rivers was not happy about it. After Melissa Rivers lost her mom last year, she would appreciate if her late mother was included in that tribute. On her Facebook account, it was pretty obvious that she was very disappointed on the award-giving body. Despite of the disappointment, Melissa  said that she's not going to pay so much attention on the snub. Her family chose to focus on the overwhelming support of the fans, who stayed behind her since her mom's death. Another notable omission from the said prestigious ceremony was the American actress and singer Elaine Stritch.
