Amal Clooney Latest: George Clooney Wife Amal Alamuddin Impresses Further, Teaches Law At Columbia University

Over and over again, it's been made clear that George Clooney's wife is one of the most impressive people working in human rights recently, and the actor often takes jokes lightly when he's told that, in their case, he's actually the trophy spouse; now, the Amal Clooney latest sees the British-Lebanese attorney preparing to give a spring course in the Ivy League Columbia University.

Over the past month, Food World News has reported two of Amal Clooney's latest news, as the barrister takes on different challenges in her profession: from defending the Armenian State in an European Union case against a Turkish politician who's denied the Armenian genocide until recently being hired to represent North Irish men who are suing the British government over having been tortured by officials.

According to USA Today, the move of Amal Clooney's latest news might come because the lawyer's husband, Oscar-winning actor and director George Clooney, is currently shooting a film called "Money Monster" in New York City, in which he co-stars with friend Julia Roberts as they're both directed by Oscar winning actress Jodie Foster.

According to NBC New York, Amal Clooney's latest was confirmed by the Columbia University last Friday, as university officials announced that the 37 year-old, who has gained superstar status since her marriage to Clooney last fall, will be lecturing on human rights over the next spring, as well as serving as a senior fellow with the Human Rights Institute of the university's law school.

"It is an honor to be invited as a visiting professor at Columbia Law School alongside such a distinguished faculty and talented student pool," said Amal Clooney's latest statement, published on the school's website. "I look forward to getting to know the next generation of human rights advocates studying here."

Of course, Amal Clooney's latest is just another accomplishment for the barrister, née Alamuddin; in the past, she has also served as an advisor to UN Secretary General Kofi Annan and represented WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.
